Family Relationships and Parenting Workshops | Children's Home ...

Do you need to improve relationships with your family members?
Children?s Home Society of Washington holds
small-group parent workshops for couples and singles.
A 4-day workshop is being held on Tusedays, July 24, 31 and Aug. 7, 14.
Parents learn that by modeling strong communication skills within their relationship, their children will reap the benefits.

Topics include: Emotional Coaching, Reaching Your Boiling Point, Effective Communication, Handling Stress Together, Honoring Your Partner?s Dreams, and Focusing on Intimacy.

This workshop uses the Loving Couples, Loving Children curriculum for couples developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman; world renowned relationship experts. It uses a multi-media format with group discussions, workbooks and other handouts. Participants work in small groups with other parents and are typically 2 hours in length. Most classes include a light meal or snacks. All participants are provided with workbooks and a notebook to use and keep.
